Is CEC a Charity?  
Christians Encouraging Christians, Inc. is registered as a tax-exempt charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to Christians Encouraging Christians, Inc. are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

How long has CEC been in existence? 
Christians Encouraging Christians, Inc. was incorporated in May, 2002.   

Why was CEC established as a nonprofit organization? 
CEC was established as a 501(c)(3)  nonprofit to accomplish its mission of “providing practical resources to encourage one another.”  By being a nonprofit organization, all tax-deductible donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations are guaranteed to remain in the organization.  

Why should I donate to CEC? 
Christians Encouraging Christians, Inc. relies solely upon tax-deductible donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations to fund their programs.

How is CEC governed? 
Like all nonprofits, CEC, Inc. is governed by a volunteer board of directors.  Members of the volunteer board, regardless of their position on the board, each have an equal voice in the governance of the affairs of the organization. Their responsibility is to safeguard the integrity of CEC by making certain it stays true to its mission statement and by being fiscally responsible. How can I donate a vehicle, boat or travel trailer, etc. to CEC? 
You may either email cecinc.info@gmail.com or call the number listed on the contact information and a volunteer will pick up the item or make arrangements to tow it to a facility. (Tow or Bestow program)

What does CEC do with donated vehicles, boats, travel trailers, etc.? 
Each item is individually assessed and 
one or a combination of the following: (1) Make repairs if cost effective (2) Give to a needy family  (3) Sell and use the proceeds to further the mission of CEC.

Does CEC accept other smaller items?
CEC accepts clothing (Wear It or Share It program), appliances, computer equipment, books, etc. (Pitch or Pass On program).

What does CEC do with small donated items?
Items are distributed to people in need.

Does CEC furnish any type of vision or dental care?
At the present time CEC furnishes free eye exams and glasses to those in need (Visions of Vision program). CEC does not currently furnish any type of dental care.
